Admission Policy and Requirements
TTC seeks to provide quality theological and liberal arts education that equips students for faithful Christian ministry, academic excellence, and responsible service in church and society. Admission to the College is therefore conducted with careful consideration of each applicant’s academic background, spiritual commitment, and readiness for theological formation.
All applicants are required to complete an entrance examination and a personal interview. Final admission decisions are made by the College Admission Committee in accordance with the academic standards and accreditation requirements of the College. The following admission policies outline the eligibility criteria and entry pathways for the various academic programs, ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with recognized theological and educational standards.
a) For ATESEA accredited Seminary degree holders and State College/University
degree holders
1) M.Div. Program
– Any bachelor or higher degree holders with the valid documents from State College or University and B.Th. degree holder can be admitted to M.Div. I.
– B.Th. degree holder with grade A- of TTC can be admitted as an upgraded student to M.Div. II.
2) M.Min. Program
– A minister who holds B.Th., B.A. or B.Sc. degree or above.
3) B.Th. Program
– Any applicants, who matriculated or 12th grade passed with the valid documents from State High School, can be admitted to B.Th. I.
– Any L.Th. Certificate holders with grade C+ and above of TTC and grade B and above of other seminaries can be admitted as an upgraded student to B.Th. III year class.
4) L.Th. program
– Any applicants who passed Nine Standard/Grade 10 from the State High School with the valid documents can be admitted to L.Th. program.
– Any applicants who hold Dip.C.S./B.T.S from LTS program of TTC can be admitted to L.Th Program.
b) For ATESEA unaccredited Seminary degree holders
1) M.Div. program
Any B.Th. or higher degree holders with valid documents, who can show original Matriculation Certificate, can be granted admission to M.Div.
program after going through M.Div. Qualifying Class for 1 year at B.Th. III Class/ Any suitable class. Those who go through the qualifying test examination can join the program as below:
– If he/she scores grade B+ or above in the qualifying test examination, he/she can join M.Div. II.
– If he/she scores grade B or below in the qualifying test examination, he/she can join M.Div. I.
– If he/she fails 1 or 2 subjects in the qualifying test examination, he/she can be allowed to sit for supplementary exam before the session begins in order to join M.Div. I.
– If he/she fails more than 2 subjects in the qualifying test examination, he/she cannot join M.Div. program.
2) M. Min. program
– Any applicants who hold B. Th., B.A., B.Sc or above.
– The applicant must have at least one year ministry experience either in the church or outside the church as a pastor, missionary, youth secretary, women secretary, CE director, etc. and its relevant post.
3) B.Th. program
– Any applicants with B.Th. degree holders having valid documents but not matriculate can be admitted to B.Th. III Class.
– Any applicants who matriculated/grade 12 passed and earned L.Th. Certificate with valid documents can join B.Th. II.
4) L.Th. program
– Any applicants, L.Th. diploma holders with valid documents can be admitted to L.Th. III.
5) Liberal Arts Education (LAE)
1) BA (English):
This program can be applied for by students who have matriculated/grade 12 passed from the State School.
2) Diploma in English:
This program can be applied for by students who have grade 9 and above passed from the State
School.
3) Certificate in English
This program can be applied for by students who have grade 9 and above passed from the State School.
