Lay Theological Studies
In Lay Theological Studies Program, we offer Bachelor in Theological Studies (BTS). The Bachelor in Theological Studies is a five-year distance education program designed to equip lay leaders, church workers, and aspiring Bible teachers with a strong foundation in theology and ministry. Taught in Mizo and Falam dialects, the program provides accessible and contextually relevant theological education to students across diverse regions who are unable to attend on-campus classes.
Through carefully structured study materials, guided assignments, and periodic contact sessions, students explore key areas such as Biblical studies, Christian doctrine, church history, ethics, and practical ministry. The distance-learning format allows students to balance their studies with family, work, and church responsibilities, while still engaging in meaningful theological formation.
Ideal for those called to serve in teaching, preaching, or local church leadership, this program empowers laypersons with the knowledge and confidence to serve their communities with theological depth and spiritual integrity — all in their own heart language.
